ReplyDeleteI read: Young Adult, Mystery, (I don't know what Erma Bombeck is classified as, but I still read her books), Middle Grade novels (I have 10 year old boys and I love the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series and 39 Clues), and Nonfiction: Biographies, writers books, dictionaries, etc.
I mainly write articles for regional parenting publications and I'm a guest columnist with a local paper. I am writing a YA novel and a Mystery novel.
Subjects discussed? Hmmm, how to organize my novel(s). I tend to lose my notecards. Showing vs. telling, I can never learn enough in that area.
Yes, I enjoy author interviews, I especially like them short and sweet. I also love the lesser known tidbits.
Contests? Love them!

Diane J., thanks for getting the ball rolling! You sound like one busy writer! I love your wide variety of interests, and I think that you have brought up an excellent topic - we all wear SO MANY hats, what can we do/how can we organize so that we get all (most) of it done? GREAT input. (And we don't mind the nice compliment one bit, either!)
